Privacy statement
Last updated: 9 September 2026 · Private beta
ShamarrConnect provides remote-desktop access. This statement explains, in plain language, what the service can and cannot see. Use of the service is governed by the Terms of Service; refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
Your remote sessions are end-to-end encrypted
When you connect to another device, the session is locked directly between the two devices. Our servers only pass along scrambled data they cannot read. They cannot see your screen, what you type, your files, or your clipboard.
What we store
- Account details: your email and a securely hashed password (we never store passwords in plain text).
- Your address book: the device IDs and labels you choose to save, so they sync across your machines.
- Connection details: device IDs and times, used to route connections and protect the network from abuse.
What we do not do
- We do not record, view, or store the contents of your remote sessions.
- We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
- We do not require any more personal information than is needed to run your account.
Where your data lives
Account data is held on systems run by ShamarrConnect, not by a third-party remote-desktop vendor. Access to production systems is restricted and audited.
Delete your account
You can request deletion of your ShamarrConnect account and associated data at any time, including after you uninstall the app: shamarrconnect.com/delete.
